Delicious Food, But Service Needs Improvement!!! Spice Hut Indian Cuisine in Canmore offers delicious, flavorful food in a spacious restaurant with convenient parking. The dishes were outstanding, full of rich and authentic flavors. However, the service was a letdown. Our follow-up naan order took over 10-15 minutes to arrive, and our water glasses were never refilled as the server got busy attending to new customers. While the food is fantastic, the service needs some attention.
Normal food, large portions, however, biriani was warm to cold. reasonable prices. They have to work for services alot. One waitress is not enough. When we enter, we had to wait long time to be seated. Also many tables were not cleaned.

A Beautiful Spot for Indian Food This restaurant offers a lovely ambiance and generous portion sizes. The food quality was decent to good, but not outstanding. Prices are reasonable, making it a solid option for casual dining. Plus, there’s plenty of parking, which is a big plus!
This is the Single Greatest Indian Food that I’ve ever eaten! The fact that they were able to make it “Not Spicy” at my request, proves that they are making everything to order. Almost every other Indian location I’ve been to, makes it Too Spicy! (Even after I tell them that I don’t want it spicy at all.) I ordered their Butter Chicken and Chicken tikka masala. The chicken was moist and full of flavor. The whole experience was fantastic!
We stopped at this restaurant for brunch around 1:30 pm Sep 23 on our way to Banff. The experience was amazing and I would give 90% of that credit to our beautiful server. Sorry I don’t know her name, she was very friendly and helpful. She was fast with the food service and also kept on asking us if we needed anything else. The environment was very serene and we enjoyed our brunch to the fullest.
